The Grille at Palm Court is looking for full time Line Cooks to join their team. This position is responsible for breakfast and lunch and works 8 am daily.
The Food & Beverage team works with some of the best local ingredients, grows their own herbs on the 16th floor rooftop herb garden, and harvests their own honey from their beehives on the roof of the fifth floor. Set up, produce, and control quality of all food items
Maintain control charts of all food items produced, as well as opening and closing checklists and production of daily menu items.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment.
Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
Other duties include being able to read, follow menus and recipes, compute basic mathematical calculations.
Diploma certification in a culinary discipline a plus but not required
Must be able to work long hours including weekends and holidays
Passion for culinary
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
